Still can't get over The Walkmen's new record. It's so good! New Nightmares on Wax is good, so is Byrne/Eno. Air France remix is their best yet, as is Tycho's new single. Jenny Lewis is on top of her game with Acid Tongue - she's the new Dolly. Check out Motel Motel. I like that song.

I'm heading into the archives ... digging through Cex similars searching for songs I haven't heard in years.

My list is comprised of some older tracks, many of which I had never heard before. I compiled it one evening by starting with TV on The Radio and clicking 'I like this' on the music player whenever I ran across something interesting.

I impart these songs to you as I would if I was on the cover of Sonic Youth's "Goo"--I'd saunter by all murderous and leather-jacket clad, my sister's boyfriend on my arm, both of us ensconced in a cloud of cigarette smoke. I'd reach into the lining of my jacket and pull out a burnt CD, chuck it at you all "FUCK YOU" and wink, "sample my wares". I don't know. These songs just make me feel that cool.
